Pummel the enemy in a melee with the Close Combat deck!

Loaded with enough Unit firepower to clear the enemy field starting midgame, this deck readily throws around huge fistfuls of damage, and if they attack with large Units intending to destroy yours, use that as your chance for a counteroffensive.

How to Use a Deck

Point:01

Wipe out any early disadvantage with GD01-050 LaGOWE's firepower. Pair it to that exceptionally strong mate ST12-011 Milliardo Peacecraft for an even stronger combo. Not only does LaGOWE become 5 AP from pairing, but Milliardo Peacecraft's 【Activate･Action】 effect can deal an additional 2 damage to Units it damaged, raising the total to 4. Or LaGOWE can destroy another Unit while Milliardo Peacecraft handles a previously damaged Unit in battle. There are plenty of possibilities, so keep on attacking.

ST12-005 GQuuuuuuX (Omega Psycommu)'s 【Attack】 effect can replace cards in your hand. This will enable you to line up cards you'll need starting mid game.

Point:02

ST12-006 Unicorn Gundam 02 Banshee (Destroy Mode) is a very handy Unit that can specialize its attacks. You can give it <First Strike> while it goes after the opponent's field, or switch to <Suppression> when it needs to destroy their Shields.

If possible, wait to pair ST12-012 Ple-Twelve until a player has three or less Shields. That way you can take full advantage of its 【When Linked】 ability.

Point:03

If you can deploy ST12-001 Gundam Epyon, then you've practically won the battle. Start destroying every enemy Unit with 5 or less AP. Don't forget to pair it with ST12-011 Milliardo Peacecraft, which will ensure that no enemy is able avoid its destruction.

ST12-001 Gundam Epyon can deal 5 damage to the enemy Base with its 【Deploy】 effect. Deploy it then link it and you might just cinch the victory even if your opponent still has a Base in play at the end of the game.
