What is a Sealed Battle?

Sealed Battle is a game mode where, instead of bringing a pre-built deck, players open booster packs and build a deck using only the cards from those packs.

Rule Explanation

There are two Sealed formats: “Booster-only” and “Starter + Booster”.

In Booster-only Sealed, the following construction rules apply:
  • Open 8 booster packs.
  • Deck must be exactly 30 cards.
  • No color restrictions when building the deck.
  • You can include any number of cards with the same card number.
In Starter Decks + Booster Packs Sealed, the following construction rules apply:
  • Open 1 Starter and 8 booster packs.
  • Deck must be exactly 50 cards.
  • No color restrictions when building the deck.
  • You can include any number of cards with the same card number.
