【Pilot Event】Newtype Challenge 2-on-2 Team Battle
Format
These are the pilot rules for the competitive 2-on-2 format.
- Two-player teams
- 30 teams
- 35-minute rounds + 5 minutes overtime
- No deck color overlap allowed between teammates
- For example, if Team 1’s Player 1 is using Red and Blue decks, then Player 2 can only build their deck from Green, White, or Purple, and cannot use any Red or Blue cards.
- 10 Shields instead of 8
- When sending a Shield card to the Hand or Trash, the team leader will be the first to do so
- At the start of the game, the top Shield is the team leader’s; each member places 5 Shields
- Piloting a teammate’s Units is allowed
