How to Use a Deck

Point:01

Start by searching for this deck's key card, ST09-001 Impulse Gundam, using the effects on GD01-118 Overflowing Affection and ST09-010 Minerva. While you're doing that, place ST09-002 Force Impulse Gundam in your trash, along with any other cards with "Impulse Gundam" that you'll want to deploy using effects.

Putting various Unit cards with "Impulse Gundam" into your trash will broaden your options in battle!

Point:02

Your best move is to deploy a Unit card with "Impulse Gundam" in its card name that is Lv.4 or higher from your trash on turn four using the 【Activate・Main】 effect on an ST09-001 Impulse Gundam deployed on turn three. The fact that ST09-001 Impulse Gundam's effect can ignore Lv. makes powerful moves like deploying ST09-002 Force Impulse Gundam possible!

On turn four you can link ST09-008 Shinn Asuka to ST09-001 Impulse Gundam and use its 【Activate・Main】. Don't forget that returning ST09-001 Impulse Gundam to the bottom of your deck with that effect will return the paired Pilot there as well!

Point:03

In the final battle stage, ST09-004 Freedom Gundam enters the action! If there's a friendly Base in play, you can hammer the enemy's shield area with <Suppression>. Conjure up a blocker on demand by setting ST09-004 Freedom Gundam as active with ST04-015 Archangel.

ST04-015 Archangel's effect can also set ST09-007 Blast Impulse Gundam as active!

Point:04

Add in ST04-001 Impulse Gundam, GD01-065 Freedom Gundam, or GD03-070 Freedom Gundam, which can all pair or link with ST04-010 Kira Yamato, and you can make the deck even stronger.

GD02-058 Ryusei-Go (Graze Custom Ⅱ) lets you place cards into the trash while drawing. Include it to give ST09-001 Impulse Gundam some assistance in the early turns!
